Are you in a relationship?
January 13th, 2009 by Anju
Inevitably, at some point a date, an acquaintance or a friendship moves beyond those terms, to a new reality: a relationship. You don’t just see each other, you feel excited, even giddy thinking about the other person. How does this happen? And when does it cross over into that serious relationship status?
I think when you start sharing items without expectation of return, you have a relationship. But this may also be the sign of a strong friendship as well.
If you want to call the other person all the time, or spend every minute with the other person, you might be in a relationship. Or you might just be a mad stalker!!!
If you find yourself drawn to someone else, with conversations that last for hours, without straining for topics for discussion, then you might be starting a relationship. If you go out of your way to express your feelings for someone through a gift or action which they aren’t expecting, that might be a move toward a relationship as well. But usually, it’s when you really feel it, or SENSE it, that you really know that you’ve moved to a more significant level. For those who know that feeling, congratulations! If you haven’t yet, then you’ve come to the right place!
Be well!
