I’m such a romantic and totally agree with the list Leo put together, it’s not about how much you spend it’s the time and effort you take.
Romance at its best is inexpensive
An additional tip is: Take the time to notice the things (big and small) that your partner does for you to make your life easier. Recognize it as an expression of love and thank him/her for doing it. I think this is especially true for those whose partners have trouble being very emotionally expressive, they tend to do tasks to express their love.
