Internet relationships

So, you’ve signed up with Sense2Love, you are ready for a relationship, and you’re wondering how to connect with someone over the internet. How can you get across what a wonderful person you are with such a cold, impersonal thing like a computer?
Well, your writing skills have to be sharp. Spelling and grammatical errors will tell the other person more about you than the content of your words, and they won’t like the message they’re getting! So your ability to effectively communicate with words is vital.
Secondly, you can’t rely on physical attributes or your standard pick-up lines here. So your personality is going to have to come out with what you say. Being able to capture in print how you think, including your sense of humor, is important too. Our survey will help you connect with likely matches, but once you have that introduction, it’s up to you to present who you are, in all your incredible, interesting and imperfect ways! Writing well helps the other person understand who you really are.
Meeting online may be “cold”, but compared to meeting in a bar (about which I’ll say more in the next blog entry), Sense2Love offers the opportunity to find out the details that make us interesting and unique! That’s much warmer than “Are your pants mirrors? Because I can see myself in them!”
